The Psychology of Networking

Want to feel more confident about networking?

Want to generate more business or more meaningful connections?

The Psychology of Networking Course

In this three and a half hour workshop you will learn the psychology of networking.

If you run your own business, or attend networking events on behalf of an organisation you will want to ensure your time is well spent and that you achieve your goals like

  • raising productivity
  • increase awareness of your product or service
  • creating interest and further discussion

During the workshop you will uncover any resistance that is keeping you from experiencing the effective and productive networking you desire.  You''ll use tools and techniques that will bring into consciousness any resistance around networking that you may be experiencing, and provide the opportunity for creating positive change.

What you'll Learn

The workshop will be split into three sections:

  1. Success intelligence
  2. Creating an elevator pitch
  3. Preparing to network

1. Success Intelligence

The words we use say a lot about us and what we think of ourselves.  They can power us towards achieving what we want, or move us away from it.  Over time the words we use form the beliefs we hold about ourselves, both positive and negative.

We will look at the strength of the mind body connection and how words can either empower us or drain us of energy physically.  They effect how we build rapport and connect with other people.

In this session we will also look at how to rewrite any negative internal dialogue to positive and empowering language that will help you achieve your goals.

2. Creating an Elevator Pitch

An elevator pitch is a succinct and persuasive sales pitch, typically of 60 seconds in duration.

So, when you have a room full of people all wanting to showcase their business, how do you stand out?

Our brain's are hardwired for story and in this workshop you will learn how to harness the power of story to create a memorable pitch.  You will learn the three types of story and how you can craft them to engage others and create further conversation.

3. Preparing to Network

In the final part of the workshop you will learn the power of breaking your day down into segments and creating intentions around how you want these sections to play out.

You will learn a calming and grounding breathing technique, as well as how you can power up your thinking with power postures that actually change your brain chemistry to support your positive way of thinking.

You will also uncover your subconscious success contract and how it could hold you back achieving the success you deserve...  Your success contract is your personal agreement that states how much success you will allow into your life.

The Workshop

The workshop will be held at the beautiful Kitley House, Yealmpton, Devon.  Refreshments will be available on arrival at 8:45 am.  Workshop will start at 9 am and finish at 12:30 pm.

You will receive a workbook to use during the workshop.  You will also find it useful to bring your own notebook and pen.
